Unilever CEO Paul Polman has heaped praises on Narendra Modi's Govt initiatives for promoting a more inclusive society.
He said initiatives like Swachh Bharat, Make in India and the Smart City project are the seeds of India's future. He said that while miracles cannot be expected overnight from these projects, they are the pillars on which a better India can be built.
He said he sees India moving in the right direction and that Unilever (one of the world's largest consumer goods companies) will help the country keep going in that path. He did admit that water and air pollution are serious issues that India faces as it strives for technological growth.
