Manchester United have held talks with the agent of Felipe Anderson over a January move, according to the Daily Star.
The Lazio playmaker was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford since the summer, but the Serie A side decided to keep the Brazilian in Rome.
Louis van Gaal is keen to bring in striking reinforcements to the misfiring Red Devils forward line and sees the 22-year old as the ideal addition to the ranks.
Reports suggest that’s talks between the club and the player’s representatives are at an advanced stage and the only thing to discuss is the transfer fee, believed to be around the £35m mark.
Anderson has made 25 appearances this season scoring five goals.
